MIG/MAG welding in Burgas
Gas-shielded welding with a consumable wire electrode is the workhorse of fabrication – long uniform seams, deep penetration and high deposition rates on structural steel, stainless and aluminium.

High deposition rates on steel and aluminium
MIG/MAG welding (processes 131 and 135 per ISO 4063) feeds a wire electrode automatically under a shielding gas – active (CO₂ or an Ar/CO₂ mix) for structural steel, inert (argon) for aluminium and high-alloy steels. The result is a stable short-circuit or spray transfer, deep penetration and a uniform fillet leg at a high deposition rate – ideal for structures, trailers, frames, steel profiles and racking.
On thin sheet and profiles we use short-arc and pulsed modes to limit heat input and distortion in the heat-affected zone (HAZ). Fit-up goes through measuring, tack welding and diagonal checks, and for fabricated parts we combine cutting, bending and drilling – you receive a finished, machined element built to drawing, not just a weld.
The process needs stable gas shielding, which makes it the first choice for enclosed sites – garages, halls, basements and production rooms. Outdoors in wind we switch to stick welding to guarantee a dense, porosity-free seam.

Frequently asked questions about mig/mag
Both feed a wire electrode automatically. MAG (135) uses an active gas – CO₂ or an argon mix – and is the standard for structural steel; MIG (131) uses an inert gas (argon) and is meant for aluminium and high-alloy grades.
