MMA stick welding in Burgas

Manual metal arc welding (MMA / SMAW, process 111 per ISO 4063) remains the benchmark for erection and repair work outdoors: the covered electrode generates its own shielding, so the process is independent of gas protection and tolerates wind, moisture and dust. We run butt and fillet welds in all positions – flat, vertical and overhead – on fences, gates, hinges, stairs, agricultural machinery and structural steel joints.

We work with rutile electrodes for general erection welds and with basic (low-hydrogen) electrodes – dried to specification – wherever higher impact toughness and dense, porosity-free weld metal are required: load-bearing nodes, machinery repairs, heavy sections. Before welding we prepare the joint properly – cleaning to bright metal, edge bevelling on thicker sections, and tack welding to control distortion.

The mobile crew arrives with a generator and a full electrode kit, so we also work on sites with no mains power. Every weld is de-slagged, dressed and primed against corrosion where needed – we hand over a joint ready for its finish coat. For larger jobs the survey in the Burgas area is free, and for emergencies we aim to respond the same day, schedule permitting.
